Anthony R. Balista, 81, is a retired U.S. Army Viet Nam veteran with six overseas deployments, two each to Korea, Vietnam, and Germany in his career. Mr. Balista is also a retired systems engineer with a background in Communications-electrics, information technology, and program and engineering management, having managed large multimillion-dollar defense industry programs. He is a prolific technical writer, having written thousands of pages of technical manuals, test procedures, specifications, and electronic communication standards for the U.S. Navy Trident Submarine, Center for Engineering and Systems Integration, United States Army, Delphi Packard, ITT Corporation, RCA Corporation, and others. He has four children and nine grandchildren and currently resides in Warren, Ohio.
